Today I got in my May Birchbox and I was pretty happy with it! I mean, compared to my awful experience with the Myglam. This month was inspired by Gossip Girl (which I actually don’t watch). In my box I got…
♥ Stila’s Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Eye liner in Curacao.I actually really liked this. Provided that I’m a Stila fan, of course. But it’s a pretty shade of blue!
♥ Dr. Jart+ BB cream. I rubbed a little bit of this on my hand and it seemed decent enough. The size of the tube was itty bitty though and probably not enough to cover my entire face.
♥ Color Club Nail Polish in Disco Nap. I’m not picky with nail polish so when I saw this I was immediately excited. Especially for the color!
♥ Kerastase Luminous Perfecting Shampoo for fine long hair.
♥ Kerastase Luminous Perfecting Conditioner for dry lengths or ends.
♥ Kerastase Luminous Perfecting Essence.Chances are, I’ll never use these Kerastase samples because of the pouch packaging.
♥ An envelope and blank card. Maybe I’ll use it for mother’s day?
So, for my first Birchbox I thought it was well worth it! I remember being SO angry with Myglam for giving me the awful little samples that I would usually get from free sample sites. Birchbox gets 3 strikes just like Myglam had though! So, I’ll keep ya updated on them.

Today was a snow day for the both of us! This morning started up with some freezing rain that made the roads far more icy than expected. Poor Paul is also a bit sick so, he stayed home and we spent most of the day resting! But, we made a snow man and walked on over to a store to grab some medication. Good day, I’d say :)! Now, I’m watching a blasphemous movie called “Romy & Michele: In the Beginning”. How could they mix up the characters like that?!

Went and saw Beauty and the Beast today on a whim. I absolutely despise 3d movies so I was really not too sure about going. But, I went because I never saw the movie in theaters (unlike the Lion King). Guys, it’s absolutely awesome. I was so happy the entire time. Everything was just beautiful! ESPECIALLY the opening scene. It looked just like a pop up book! AND THE LIBRARY!! Hooo man. I seriously had this dopey looking face on for the entire movie…along with a few plenty happy tears. I kept wanting to cry every time *anything* memorable happened. There was a kid next to me complaining how he didn’t like beast and whining about how he wanted to go home. I wanted so badly to lean over and say, “OH MY GOD…YOU KIDS DON’T KNOW ANYTHING!!”
Also, Tangled was super cute.

10) The Civil Wars : I’ve been obsessed with this duo for a while now, but I’ve recently started listening to their Pandora station during my alone times and it is AMAZING.
9) Ferrero Rocher : I actually asked Paul specifically for these candies on Christmas and guess what happened! I entered a contest and won a big box of them! Santa must have pulled some strings.
8) Filofax : I’m debating on buying myself one for Christmas. It’s either that or starting a nail polish collection! Hmm…
7) Mittens : I just bought my first ever pair!
6) Shopping : Once Black Friday hits, my bank account goes way way down! Haha!
5) Gingerbread Houses : even if mine looks terrible!
4) Cute socks : I bought a massive amount of cute socks from Forever 21. 97 cents or something like that!
3) Our PS3, Moose : Games and TV. It consumes my life!!!
2) Snow : I don’t know why but I really want it to snow this year. I miss getting stuck at home because of it! 
1) Globes and Maps : Once the decorations for Christmas comes down, I’m gonna need to find something else to hang up or by the mantle. I’m thinking it’d be map related!
